  Blaze entered the show ring on January 21,   2005  and gained his Championship in four show weekends on March 3, 2005. He finished with a 4 pt x 5 pt x 5pt major - 2 pt win - Best of Breed over a special and several Best Puppy wins at the age of seven months.
